What I Am And What I Want

I am a recovering alcoholic
I am a recovering manic-depressive who hears "voices"
I am concerned about weighing 300 pounds
I am middle aged
I am very bright
I am very lonely
I am poor, with no prospects for work that I would want to do

I want to find a good woman
I want to grow old with her
I want a child or two to love and hold and watch grow up
I want my Mom to live forever
I want some damn money to live on
I want people whom I can trust in my life
I want my life to stay as simple as it is now
