Man-kind
Your job is to think of something clever to say
While I am speaking to you; you hear nothing
That comes out of my mouth as you wait your turn
To humiliate me
You beat my mother
You compete with your wife in everything
Except what matters
In your job, you pay attention to every detail
Every argument must be won
Every coworker must bow before you
Your role at home is to say to the kids "Because I said so"
When they ask "Why?"
You physically intimidate your spouse
You admit nothing, never saying "I'm sorry" to anyone
Lying and stealing come naturally
You tell others how to run their lives
While yours falls apart
When with your best friends
Not one of you ever says, "I disagree"
Because you are too drunk and stupid
To make a scene
Wasting everyone's time, I think,
Each day inching closer to death
You are a man
While I am speaking to you; you hear nothing
That comes out of my mouth as you wait your turn
To humiliate me
You beat my mother
You compete with your wife in everything
Except what matters
In your job, you pay attention to every detail
Every argument must be won
Every coworker must bow before you
Your role at home is to say to the kids "Because I said so"
When they ask "Why?"
You physically intimidate your spouse
You admit nothing, never saying "I'm sorry" to anyone
Lying and stealing come naturally
You tell others how to run their lives
While yours falls apart
When with your best friends
Not one of you ever says, "I disagree"
Because you are too drunk and stupid
To make a scene
Wasting everyone's time, I think,
Each day inching closer to death
You are a man
