The B-Sides

A mom is sexy. A woman not afraid to take on life's challenges in all their ugly forms is sexy. And a rock and roll singer sure is sexy, too.

After selling 70 or so million albumbs, what is there left to do for Britney Spears? Well, how about, along with her many personal responsibilities, selling another 70m? I mean, why not? She is only 25.

The B-Sides

Could start off with Ozzy's "Crazytrain." A great rocker if there ever was one. Would Ozzy sing along? We think they'd sound sweet and powerful together.

Sticking with rock, how would something from "Boston" sound? Or is it too soon? "Rock and Rock Band", etc. are some of the great rockers, and B would be terrific. Maybe too soon, though.

How about "Reaction to Action" by Foreigner and "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis? "Where have all the good times gone?" by Van Halen? "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A" by John Melloncamp?

Sorry, Britney: We know most of the stuff came out before you were born, but it looks worth doing. Go for it!

Micheal Vick is Bad News...

As posted much earlier on this blog, M Vick sufferers from self reverential disease. But worse of all, he tortures dogs, or at least some of his friends do. this is a bad guy whom the Falcons should rid themselves of. Vick is bad news who will never be a big winner in the nfl. There, we said it. Rid themselves of Vick's K and his legacy would be the best move. Maybe trading the UVA kid was a bad move. whatever.

what do you guys think?

This war is ...

Unworkable.

Unwageable.

Is SI still the best mag on the planet?

...without the Minnesota Big Foot on its roster? (He's off procreating according to the rumor mill.)

Gary Smith breaks out of a mild slump with a tear inducing read. Great job.

Rick Reilly: How does this guy never HAVE a slump? Awesome every single week, especiallly the recent piece on The Great Federer.

The new Players section has been surprisingly top notch from what we've seen. Interesting and informative.

Sports Illustrated: Just when you think you might be out, they pull you back in. Thankfully.

And..

Yes. It is.
